    When Campbell died, she took a 3-person plot at Moorgate cemetery. This overlooked Canklow, so "Campbell could an eye on her at the shop". She is buried in the same grave, together with her second husband, Thomas Hodgkiss who was a friend of Campbell's.

    The plot is about halfway down, on the left hand side from the entrance, in sandstone.

Lydia & Campbell lived on Maltkiln Street & Alpha Place

 

Lydia & Thomas Hodgkiss lived at 22 St Stephen's Road

 

When widowed, Lydia lived in a bungalow at Swinburne Place, Herringthorpe, and later lived in a sheltered flat at Broom Valley.

 

Lydia used to help out at Linda's bakery shop on Fitzwilliam Road, and also worked for a time at Lownes corner shop at the bottom of Grosvenor Road.3

Individual Note 2

Lydia lived at 22 Swinburne Place in a bungalow before going into Green Croft on Broom Valley Road, which was sheltered housing. She didn't like it very much because she couldn't be as independent as she liked, though it was fairly close to the shops.6
